According to data from Kenya Demographic and Health Survey (KDHS) Kenya has made significant progress in promoting access to family planning and increasing modern contraceptive prevalence rate from 53% in 2014 to 57% in 2022, with unmet need for family planning reducing slightly from 18% to 14% while teenage pregnancy has fallen from 18% to 15%.
