Mural of the 700th anniversary of the charter of settlement and franchises of the Town of Lillet, Berguedà, Catalonia, Spain. The mural is placed on a wall in the garden area between the back of the Town Hall and the southern abutment of the old bridge; below Carrer Regatell and overlooking the old town. It is a place to rest and to be, as there is the fountain of the old bridge and the surroundings are conditioned with benches and ornamented. Thus the mural is a commemorative and also decorative element. The mural is made with decorated tiles that make up a scene that wants to reproduce the moment when Ramon d'Urtx and his son Hug de Mataplana granted charters of franchise to the inhabitants of the Vall de Lillet in 1297. The scenographic framework is the Vall de Lillet, with the Monastery of Santa Maria de Lillet, the roundabout of Sant Miquel, and the valley with the Pedraforca in the background, and with different characters including the grantors of the charter and townspeople. On the mural there is the following note: "On April 13, 1297, Ramon d'Urtx and Hug de Mataplana, his son, granted a charter of population and franchises to the inhabitants of La Pobla de Lillet".
