October 3, 2023, Munich, Bavaria, Germany: Jürgen Todenhöfer. On the Day of German Unity (Tag der Deutschen Einheit), the pro-Russia Muenchen Steht Auf conspiracy extremist group and their associates organized a protest against Germany’s support for Ukraine while the associated Friedensbuendnis organized another demo at Odeonsplatz. The MSA group is a combination of Pegida, far- and extreme-right groups, QAnons, Reichsbuerger (sovereign citizens), and other anti-democratic orphan groups and have spent the better part of three years attacking journalists. The group is now converting itself into the Free Assange movement to hide their anti-state intentions and also claiming to be left and “antifascists”, despite originating from a far- to extreme-right movement. They also receive support from far-left groups that are aligned with die Linke as they try to create a grand “Querfront” to topple the system and democracy. Some thinktanks see these groups and parties as “Putin’s Trojan horses” inside Europe. (Credit Image: © Sachelle Babbar/ZUMA Press Wire) EDITORIAL USAGE ONLY! Not for Commercial USAGE!
