Merseburg, Germany. 30th Sep, 2021. The morning sun shines on Merseburg Cathedral. A three-day festival in Merseburg from 1 to 3 October commemorates the consecration of the cathedral 1000 years ago. One of the highlights of the program under the motto "Consecrated for Eternity" is a procession during which the cathedral will ceremoniously receive a new bell.
