Fierce clashes broke out between government forces and Kashmiri protesters in Srinagar on Tuesday as the valley continued to remain tense over the killing of 11 people including 5 militants and 6 civilians in Indian administered Kashmir. Police used tear smoke shells and shot gun pellets to disperse hundreds of demonstrators who hurled rocks and chanted anti-Indian and pro-freedom slogans.
