The well-known scientist had hitherto traveled there twice each year to direct the excavation work in Olympia. He hopes that he can continue this work also in the future and takes therefore pains at present to regulate the affair by the diplomatic way. Prof. Kunze had been the head of the German archeological institute in Athens from 1951 to 1967. The scientist who is composting the display ''100 years German excavations in Olympia'' together with some collaborators, which exhibition will be shown in Munich from Juni to September 1972, also belongs to the Munich from June to September 1972, also belongs to the Munich Olympic organization committee, as consulting member of the cultural committee.
