First Parish Church in Manchester-by-the-Sea, the structure was built in 1809. When built it became Manchester's fourth Meeting House. It was later sold to the Orthodox Congregational Church and the church installed the steeple with four clock faces and the church bell. The building eventually became the First Parish Church and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
