Little Wittenham, Oxfordshire, England - 17 July 2020 There are many fine old stone parish churches in our area of the Cotswolds. They are often picturesque and packed with history, and usually dating back to medieval or even Anglo-Saxon Times. This is the fine Anglican Parish church of Saint Peter's in Little Wittenham. It has a 14th-century west bell tower, of which the lower stages are Decorated Gothic and the upper stages are Perpendicular Gothic. In 1863, the nave and chancel in the Early English Gothic were rebuilt in Gothic Revival style.
