Pakistan came into existence as a result of the Pakistan Movement, which aimed to create an independent Muslim state in the north-western regions of British India via partition. The All-India Muslim League led the movement under the leadership of Muhammad Ali Jinnah. The national flag colors show the enthusiasm of the people to commemorate the country's Independence Day.
