Kidderminster, UK.10th September, 2021. Environmental 'Risk Reduction' crews have been out on the canal in Kidderminster today putting in essential measures for a massive clean-up following contamination spill-off into the canal from the huge fire just above the waterway, 2 days ago. Vital water barriers have been dropped into this stretch of the canal to enable effective clean-up operations and to prevent pollution moving further along the water system. Movement of canal boats has been completely stopped leaving frustrated holiday makers stranded along the canal, all travel plans disrupted.
