June 3, 2020. Beverly, MA. #WeCan’tBreathe – North Shore Black Lives Matter Car Rally. Citizens from the Beverly, Salem, Lynn and Swampscott area held a Black Lives Matter rolling car rally that wound through the North Shore area. Cars displayed signs calling for accountability and condemning police violence and systemic oppression. The rally ended at Governor Baker’s home in Swampscott. Rev. Andre Bennett, of Zion Baptist Church in Lynn, led the protest and presented Governor Baker with a list of demands, which was placed in the governor’s home mailbox.
