Jerusalem, Israel. 10th February, 2019. The 'Prison of Christ', a small Greek Orthodox chapel inside the Church of the Holy Sepulchre where Jesus was traditionally incarcerated by Roman soldiers before his crucifixion, based on a 9th century Byzantine monk who referenced the site as “the guardroom where Christ was imprisoned with Barabbas”, was recently reopened after repairs over a period of several years due to a fire which caused major damage.
