Tomasz Konieczny is awarded by Jarosław Sellin (Secretary of State in the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage - Poland) by gold medal for Merit to Culture – Gloria Artis - Polish Ministry of Culture recognition (medal is visible on singer's chest). Ceremony was after concert which was organised to celebrate 25 years of Konieczny's carreer as a profesional opera singer. Artist together with Lech Napierała (piano) performed pieces by Mykola Lysenko, Richard Strauss, Aleksander Nowak and Henryk Czyz.
