Italy, Tuscany, Florence. Four ornamental statues of the Seasons. They were added in 1608 to Ponte Santa Trinita, on the occasion of the marriage of Cosimo II de' Medici (r. 1609-1621) and Maria Maddalena of Austria. Statue of Spring by sculptor Pietro Francavilla (1553-1616).
