Hong Kong, 1983; Typhoon Ellen was one of the worst typhoon ever to strike Hong Kong, and certainly the worst I experienced whilst living in the Territory during the 1980s. Here we see some typical uban damage of such a strong hurricane, shot almost on my doorstep in Tsimshatsui.
