glass jar, ca.1750, General: 17.7 x 8.6cm 177 x 86mm, V.O.C. jar of colorless glass. The jar has a slightly arched base with a profile edge. Thick, massive, smooth stem that flows directly into the calyx. Calyx with almost pointed bottom. On the chalice wall an image has been drilled of a shield covered by a grave crown and surrounded by twigs with the letters VCO. All around, below the matted scalloped top edge, the text: HET. WELL. SAIL . FROM . THE OST DENIAN COMPANY., 1890
