Glasgow, Scotland, 2 March 2019. The 'Blue Wave' demonstration by the Extinction Rebellion climate change group and supporters, blocking roads and moving through the streets of the city to highlight the rising waters of the River Clyde and to warn of the dangers of climate change if urgent action isn't taken immediately. The peaceful demonstration of approximately 200 people culminated with the symbolic throwing of water from the River Clyde on to the City Chambers steps, a symbol of the water levels to come.
