More information:

29.05.2012, Bottrop, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany - Bernepark in Bottrop district Ebel. The Bernepark is today a park landscape with event and restaurant building. The result is the terrain of the Klaeranlage Bernemuendung, which was set after almost forty years in 1997. The park was planned by the Emschergenossenschaft and the city of Bottrop for the project Emscherkunst 2010. One of the former Klaerbecken of 73 meters in diameter was transformed with 21, 000 perennials and Graesern into a walk-in sunken garden. The other Klaerbecken was filled with fresh water. Another project on the grounds is the so-called Park Hotel of the Austrian artist Andreas Strauss. The five individual hotel rooms, which are located directly on the Emscherdeich, are concrete pipes, which are each equipped with a double bed for overnight accommodation. They have a diameter of 2.40 meters. Over the Internet, guests can book their night and pay only as much as they are worth.
