Funerary figure of Imsety. Dimensions: H. 8 × W. 2.5 × D. 2 cm (3 1/8 × 1 × 13/16 in.). Date: 1100-332 BC. These elaborate composite glass figures of the Four Sons of Horus also show traces of gilding. The date of the figures is quite uncertain. They are likely to be pre-Ptolemaic given the strongly sectional use of color, but until a careful study is done of the style of such figures through time more cannot be said with any certainty. Museum: Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, USA.
