The Manor is a privately-owned country house hotel standing on the site of the 13th century Grange of Osney. It was largely rebuilt in 1587 as the home of Henry Lord Norreys, servant of Queen Elizabeth I and Ambassador to France. Later it became the home of the Bertie family, Earls of Abingdon. It was again restored in the 19th century.
