Five historic D-Type Jaguars visit Brooklands circuit, Weybridge, Surrey, England, UK. 1st September 2017. D-Type Jaguars won the Le Mans 24hr endurance race in 1955, 1956 and 1957. In 1957, D-Types were placed 1-2-3-4-6, with only a solitary Ferrari in 5th spoiling the parade. In picture, car numbered '3' (Ecurie Ecosse, XKD 606, 'long-nose') is the 1957 Le Mans winner and car '17' (Equipe Los Amigos, XKD 513, 'short-nose') was third. Number '25' (Jaguar Works, XKD 605, 'long-nose') was 6th at Le Mans in 1956.
