Every child loves ice cream but so does Spike, the Orang OUtan at London Zoo. When little Carol Phillips settled down in a chair to enjoy her ice cream cornet she attracted the attention of Spike who decided he too would like one. Judging from the expression on his face he found it to his liking, even though the coldness of the ice did take away his breath at the first bite. - June 30th 1949
