Πρόκειται για τμήμα βάθρου με αγάλματα της οικογένειας του Φιλίππου Β΄, που είχαν στηθεί εκεί το 2ο αι. μ.Χ. Ένα από αυτά, σύμφωνα με την επιγραφή, εικόνιζε τη Θεσσαλονίκη, κόρη του Φιλίππου και γυναίκα του Κασσάνδρου, που έδωσε το όνομά της στην πόλη.
