The rapist and murderer was detained today in the city of La Paz, preparing to escape to Peru by land.Sexual violence in Bolivia is increasing during the COVID-19 period. According to UNFPA estimates in Bolivia, during the quarantine that began in March, at least four girls and adolescents a day are victims of sexual violence, not counting the Ã’under-registrationÓ of girls who keep quiet about these situations, which due to confinement is believed to the figure is ''much, much higher.''
