Emotions were running high this afternoon outside the High Speed Rail HS2 site in Denham when a tree surgeon climbed up a tree on behalf of HS2 with a chain saw to cut branches off it. The tree was outside the HS2 compound fencing next to the River Colne causing the tree protectors to stand in the River to try and protect it.
