The blessing includes a procession of animals to the altar. The event offers individual blessings to all kinds of pets, including dogs, bunnies, guinea pigs, farm animals and more. All animals are welcomed and must be accompanied by their owners. The event is organized by Cindy Adams, a columnist at the New York Post, and Christ Church.
