The inaugeration has taken place after the completion of one fourth of the envisaged number of factories at Okhla in the second five-year plan. Though there are 500 workers at this stage in the factories operating now on a single shift basis, the employment is expected to rise up to 1, 500 workers as soon as all the 35 factories start functioning in full fledged manner.
