Dec. 12, 1957 - ''Passat'' again in Hamburg: The German windjammer ''Passat'', the sister-ship of the ''Pamir'' returned Sunday, December 8, 1957 to its home-port Hamburg. The ship had suffered a storm near the Azores by the beginning of November during which part of the grain had slid to one side. In the port of Lisbon, where the windjammer arrived under own power, the grain had to be reloaded - all of its 4000 tons. For the arrival of the ''Passat'' in the Hamburg port many residents of Hamburg had appeared at the pier - although the weather was stormy and rainy - in order to greet the homecoming seamen.
