Evacuated children from the lockdown town of San Nicholas, Batangas underwent a Trauma Informed Resiliency Workshop conducted by Salinlahi Children's Rehabilitation Center, through an Art Workshop, aims to help children from the heavily affected areas from the context of the recent volcanic eruption, cope and recover from the event and be resilient enough to overcome adversity and continue the children's normal development. Workshop had a small group engaging communal conversation, discussing information about volcanos, how it affects the people, and how it relates to children in their current situation. The children were asked to explain what they saw, how they felt through drawings and other group activities. The workshop culminated through Kite making and flying.
