Another remarkable attraction is the Jardines de Humaya, the cemetery where many drugslords are buried and people try to outdo each other with a pompous mausoleum architecture, some even 3 stories high. A more sobering sight are the giant murals paineted all over town of the thousands of people that have dissapeared and potraits of journalist Javier Valdez who was murdered in 2017.
