Rebecca Rogers, 38, was working at HMP Parc in Bridgend when she met the man; however he was later moved to another prison. Rogers kept contact with him sending a total of 26 letters of a personal nature. During that time, Rogers became aware that the prisoner was in possession of a mobile phone; an item which is prohibited. She did not report the fact until six weeks later.
