At the photo the Prime Minister is flanked by (R-L) Minister for Food and Agriculture, Rasmus Prehn, Minister for Health, Magnus Heuniche, Minister for Justice, Mattias Tesfaye, Minister of Trade and Industry, Simon Kollerup. On November 04, 2020, the Government unlawful ordered mass culling of some 18 million mink, caused by concerns of a possible Covid-19 mutation. The Mink Commission report accuse the Prime Minister for having forced the pace of the decision-making process to such a degree, that the risk of mistakes was increased and may have led to the mass culling without legal basis. Many top officials, amongst these the Danish Chief of Police and the PM's own Permanent Secretary of State, Barbara Bertelsen, were also blamed by the report. Photo by OJPHOTOS.
