College students and community members wearing face masks hold placards while gathering in Peoples Park to protest against the death penalty, and a wave of executions at the Terre Haute federal prison (Federal Correctional Complex at Terre Haute) during the last months of Donald J. Trump's presidency. The federal government has already executed 8 prisoners on death row, and several more are scheduled to be put to death before January 20th. Billie Allen, who maintains his innocence, but is on death row, spoke to the group via a phone call from prison.
