More information:

Chinese customers shop for fruits at a supermarket in Qingdao city, east China's Shandong province, 9 June 2016. China's consumer inflation rose less than forecast in May as pressure from high food prices eased, while producer prices recovered more than forecast, complicating the view on how much room the central bank has to further support the economy. The consumer price index (CPI) rose 2.0 percent year-on-year in May, compared with a 2.3 percent increase in April. Food prices were up 5.9 percent year-on-year in May after rising 7.4 percent in April.
