Jan. 16, 1953 - Hampshire, England, U.K. - A party of nine young people are preparing their ex-German yacht 'Asta' in the Hamble River, Hampshire for their 30, 000 mile voyage to San Francisco, via Mediterranean, the Red Sea, Ceylon and the East Indies. RICAHRD ARAMBURU, the captain holds a miniature 'Irish Doll' mascot, at the wheel of the 'Asta' at Hamble River.
