The galls are developed on both sides of the leaf-blade. On the uppersurface they are semi-ballshaped, contracted at their base and with a diameter of 1 — 1V2 rn^- See figure 13. The surface is covered with a layer of short white hairlets. On the under- side is developed a conical or rounded swel- ling densely covered with hairs and about 1 mM. in diameter.
