Brick houses on the edge of an unstable earth cliff / ravine in the central Miraflores district overlooking Avenida del Poeta, La Paz, Bolivia. Many of La Paz's hillside neighbourhoods have been built in unstable areas and without proper permits or building controls. Subsidence and landslides causing houses to collapse are common, especially in the rainy season.
