Booked for success... these youngsters won Bradley Junior School's competition to design a book cover. The contest was staged as part of the National Book Week which aims to promote reading among children. From left (back) are: Jason Dean, Georgina Miller, Christopher Beresford, and Jonathan Scoon. Front are Tracy Childs, Daniel Bright and Lorraine Stoddart. Stacy Samuels, not pictured, was also a winner and they all received book tokens as prizes. Some 200 children took part and book stalls have been set up in the school. 11th October 1988.
