Belfast, County Antrim, N, Ireland. 17th Dec, 2020. Shoppers in Belfast hunt for last minute bargains as Northern Ireland faces another 6 week lockdown. Health officials have proposed a six-week lockdown across NI in a bid to curb the spread of the virus. NI ministers could approve it to take effect from 28 December, but the details will be worked out on Thursday afternoon. It is believed it would include a review period after four weeks. On Thursday, a further 12 Covid-linked deaths were recorded in NI and a further 656 cases of the virus. Credit: Photo/Paul McErlane/Alamy Live News
