HS2 have evicted many people from their homes along the proposed railway line, however, many allegedly are still awaiting payment by HS2. The very controversial and over budget High Speed 2 rail link from London to Birmingham is carving a huge scar across the Chilterns which is an AONB and puts 108 ancient woodlands, 693 wildlife sites and 33 SSSIs at risk.
