he beautiful Valle Isarco/Eisacktal runs from Bolzano/Bozen to the Passo del Brennero/Brenner Pass. Near Bressanone/Brixen, the narrow and cliffy valley with its vineyards and chestnut groves turns into a large verdant valley with green meadows and apple trees. The Valle Isarco/Eisacktal has a lot to offer: from hiking trails to demanding climbing routes, from rocky mountains to glaciated 3000m peaks in the Stubai and Zillertal Alps and from culinary to sporting events. In spring, the Valle Isarco/Eisacktal with its splendid blossoms invites you to take your first hikes, while the last ski enthusiasts still glide over the slopes in the near skiing areas. In autumn, in the Valle Isarco/Eisacktal, the fifth season of the year begins - the Törggelen. At this time of year, in the traditional taverns and inns of the area, you can enjoy traditional South Tyrolean specialities such as dumplings, sauerkraut and the famous roast chestnuts. Naturally, the sweet wine - "il Sußer" - should never be missing from the table. Both roast chestnuts and traditional krapfen are served as desserts. Winter sports enthusiasts and families can spend an unforgettable day in the snow in the beautiful snow-covered landscape, skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and tobogganing. The Monte Cavallo/Rosskopf ski area has the longest snow-covered and illuminated toboggan run in Italy. Those who prefer to stay in the v
