Augusta-Hospital, aka Kaiserin-Augusta-Hospital built 1869-70, architect Hermann Blankenstein, Scharnhorststraße 3, Mitte, Berlin Queen Augusta founded the Women's Lazareth Association as a small hospital with 85 beds. The hospital was later extended until 1883 and in 1913 a new building was built for the clinic on Scharnhorststrasse. Two old doors are the reminders of the old building as it has been completely renovated. the one bears evidence of WW2 damage and the other has been repaired The memorial for the nurses of the hospital was rebuilt in 1998 in the Invalidenfriedhof opposite.
