Aug. 08, 1978 - Conservative Poster Upsets Labour The Conservative poster ''Labour Isn't Working'' thought up by the two brothers Morris and Charles Saatchi, has infuriated the Prime Minister Jim Callaghan and the Chancellor Denis Healey. The Chancellor, in speech accused the Tories of hiring the Advertising agency Saatchi, and Saatchi, to ''sell Mrs. Thatcher as if she was a soap powder''. The Labour also accused the Tories of spending about two million on pre-election advertising.
