As Australia celebrates its annual national holiday, Australia Day, held on 26 January each year, an indigenous protest named 'Invasion Day' is held in Sydney to raise awareness for indigenous Aboriginal issues. The protest march followed a path from Belmore Park near Central Station to Railway Square, then along Broadway to Victoria Park at Sydney University.
