A vendor with capped gold teeth selling traditional Bukhara-style non or naan oven-baked flatbread in Siyob Bazaar also called Siab Bazaar, the largest bazaar in the city of Samarkand alternatively Samarqand in Uzbekistan. Replacing natural teeth with gold implants or caps was once a status symbol and prestige in Uzbekistan and other countries of Central Asia. However, the younger generation seldom follows this tradition.
