A small butterfly named a Gold-spotted Sylph, Metisella Metis, perched with its wings spread on a delicate white flower bud in the grasslands of the escarpment of South Africa. The Goldspotted sylph is a butterfly from the Hesperiidae Family, which are commonly known as sylphs or skippers. They occur in Afromontane regions of Southern Africa and are common along forest margins.
