Seven environmental and human rights organizations in the Netherlands were prepared to sue Royal Dutch Shell if the oil giant refuse to align its business model with the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement. The groups, led by Friends of the Earth Netherlands/Milieudefensie and joined by Greenpeace Netherlands and Action Aid Netherlands. Police officers and Shell's security were present without intervening.
