In Southern Utah, USA is a unique geological feature called Crystal Geyser. Cold water heavy with minerals shoots out of the ground through a metal drill casing pipe. The pipe gets simultaneously rusted by the water and encrusted by the mineral deposits. This is a close up macro shot of 3 bullet holes in the side of the pipe.
