23 April 2019, Saxony, Chemnitz: Elke Beer, Director of the Chemnitz City Library, shows the restored Consilia des Nicolaus Panormitanus de Tudeschis in the Chemnitz City Library. The heavily damaged book has now been restored and saved from decay for around 1500 euros. The collection of legal documents and legal opinions was printed 543 years ago in movable type in Ferrara, Rome and Venice. The printed sheets then crossed the Alps to Leipzig. There the bows were bound into folios and henceforth enriched the library of the Chemnitz Franciscan monastery. Presumably there are only four editions
