1960s, historical, two eldery gentlemen, long serving company employees of Watts Brothers Limited - establised in 1915 - being congratulated on their retirement from the business and receving gifts of the latest portable Hacker transistor radios, Scotland, UK. In the late 1920s, the Hacker Bros had founded Dynatron, but following its take over by Ekco in 1955, the brothers established Hacker Rado Limited in 1959, later being awarded two Royal Warrants of Appointment, a prestigious honour. Hacker radios, are considered by many to be the best ever made British radios.
